As with last year, the first day of school did not come without lots of anticipation and planning. Only this year, little Kate was a bit more particular about what she would wear than I remembered.
This is her posing in the chosen "Belle" shirt and flower skirt. In case you didn't notice, the sandals were picked specifically because they have flowers...to match her skirt.
Oh, and dare I forget...the beloved hair accessory. The "Belle" shirt would normally had required a matching "Belle" braid (aka French braid). However, the day before school started she received a package with new Minnie pony tail holders. Hence, the request...
Ahhh...Back to School. 4 going on 14.
